For 25 years, we have been teaching, publishing coursebooks, and providing cutting-edge educational solutions to students, teachers, schools, and publishers worldwide. We know that technology is the key to effective learning and development.
1997
We establish the GLOSSA Foreign Language School. Few people worldwide use the Internet yet, and the expansion of smartphones and mobile devices will take place nearly a decade later. In the following years, we will closely observe technology development and gain experience working with coursebooks from leading publishers. By analysing our teachers’ work and our students’ learning styles, we look for the best educational solutions.
2001
In cooperation with partners from around the world, we are expanding our offerings to include trips to foreign language courses. Through this collaboration, we gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges of managing a school and organising language courses.
2007
We design and implement our own online system for language training in companies and institutions. We educate employees of multinational corporations.
2010
We start publishing activities in teaching Polish as a foreign language and receive support from the European Union under the “Innovative Economy” programme for the creation of the e-learning platform e-polish.eu.
2014
Our coursebook series “POLSKI krok po kroku” (Polish Step by Step) breaks through intense competition and becomes an undisputed bestseller in Poland, Europe, the USA, Canada, and Australia. We owe our global success to enriching the traditional paper edition of coursebooks with access (for teachers and students) to prototype e-coursebooks, interactive exercises and tests on the e-polish.eu platform.
2020
We add the Virtual Classroom to the e-polish.eu platform, allowing us to teach online and take full advantage of e-coursebooks. Although the e-polish.eu platform deals with a very niche language such as Polish, it is used by over 43,000 students and 17,000 teachers worldwide. Each year the numbers increase by more than 20%.
2022
We use our knowledge of the publishing market,
teaching and student needs, and our experience in developing e-learning applications
to create the e-coursebook.eu and e-school.eu platforms.
In this way, we want to help publishers meet
the demands of modern education.
