There are three variations available for preparing your textbook as an e-coursebook:

• STANDARD – The basic version where you publish a textbook containing mandatory elements: answers to each closed exercise (for automatic checking – answer key), recordings with transcriptions.
• PLUS – An extended version based on the STANDARD version, which includes additional exercises and multiple-choice tests, and optionally, comments (e.g., grammar), interactive games, additional materials in the form of hyperlinks, PDFs, flashcards.
• PREMIUM – Available for purchase only by teachers, the PREMIUM version is an extension of PLUS with additional permission granted by you (the Publisher) for the use of individual exercises. This allows, for example, the creation of individual lessons by teachers based on specific elements, combining different elements, including resources from other publishers.

The differences between the BASIC, SMART, and PRO plans are as follows:

• Margin Percentage on e-coursebook Sales: The margin percentage you receive from selling e-coursebooks varies depending on the plan. Generally, the higher the subscription plan, the lower the margin percentage.
• Included Digitalizations from Your Catalog: The SMART and PRO plans include a certain number of digitalizations of textbooks from your catalog conducted by the e-coursebook.eu team at no additional cost. The number of included digitalizations may differ between these plans.
• Additional Digitalization Fees: If you require extra digitalizations beyond the ones included in your plan, there will be additional fees. The amount of these fees may vary depending on your plan.
• Storage Space Capacity: The plans may offer different levels of storage space for your digital materials.
• Additional Storage Space Fees: If you need more storage space beyond what is included in your plan, there may be additional fees.
• Technical Verification Fee: The cost for independently digitized textbooks (not done by the e-coursebook.eu team) to undergo technical verification is included in the pricing.

The subscription is terminated within a one-month notice period. After this time, the e-coursebooks offered by e-school.eu and e-coursebook.eu, which you provide, will be removed from the store. However, they will still be available in the individual libraries of users who have already purchased these publications. They will be able to use them according to the purchase agreement until their expiration date.

Please remember that you have the option to reactivate the publishing account. Data regarding e-coursebooks is stored in the archive for 365 days – during this time, they can be easily restored for sale.

Right away! You choose the plan that suits your needs, prepare your e-coursebook, and submit it for publication. Our team conducts a technical verification, and then we publish it!

On the last day of each month, the fee is calculated according to the chosen subscription plan. The system automatically generates a VAT invoice, including:

• Subscription fee.
• Margin for sold e-coursebooks.

Additional fees may be charged (according to the chosen subscription) if you perform any of the following actions during the settlement cycle:

• Order additional digitization (beyond the allocation included in the subscription).
• Order additional disk space.
• Order a verification of a self-prepared e-coursebook.

The VAT invoice is sent to the email address provided in your account settings.

Cancellation of the subscription – The subscription for a publishing account is a contract for a 1-year period, with the option to terminate it with a 1-month notice.

Changing the subscription type – You can change your subscription type at any time, and the changes will take effect from the next billing month.

Based on the monthly settlement and the sales records of e-coursebooks, the margin, as defined in the chosen subscription, is paid out. The payment is made to the designated bank account by the X day of the calendar month following the settlement period.

Yes, a publishing account can collaborate with textbook creators, such as editors or individuals contributing specific chapters. The decision-maker can link their free accounts to the main account (with different usernames and passwords) and approve or provide feedback on the parts (lessons) they have contributed to the e-coursebook.

Contact us and we will surely find a solution together. In the e-coursebook creator, you can create X (a dozen or so) types of exercises, such as fill-in-the-blank, crossword, open exercises, and more.

To update an e-coursebook, go to the settings of the specific e-coursebook and select the “Update” option. Make your changes and save them – the system will display a preview of the change and request your approval. Your approval will be equivalent to publishing it. Within 24 hours, the changes will be refreshed. The system will inform users when the e-coursebook has been updated – a sign that the publisher cares about the quality and currency of the content.

It’s a decision for the publishing house. An e-coursebook allows for even greater flexibility, enabling you to tailor the content of the textbook to specific audience groups and expand it as needed. Printed textbooks can be a compromise in terms of what tasks and content to include. The ability to tailor materials to the audience is virtually unlimited – you can prepare an e-coursebook for advanced students or create an e-coursebook with additional examples, both based on the printed textbook.

No. The language of the materials is the original language in which the e-coursebook (textbook) was prepared – for example, a textbook for learning Polish is entirely written in Polish (instructions, task content, grammar comments). The language of the interface is the language chosen by the user – for example, Jack uses the platform in English (so the login menu and system information are displayed in English).

1. Register/Login to the Publishing Account: Sign in or create an account for your publishing company on the platform.
2. Prepare a PDF File of the Textbook: Use a PDF file of your textbook as the basis for the e-coursebook. This PDF can be the one sent to the printer, and it should have good quality graphics (72 dpi).
3. Follow the Creator’s Instructions: Utilize the platform’s e-coursebook creator, which will guide you through the process step by step.
4. Set e-coursebook Information: Define details about the e-coursebook, such as price, language, content scope (STANDARD or PREMIUM), authors, ISBN, and more. An example of an information card can be found here.
5. Publish: After completing the necessary steps, approve and publish the e-coursebook. It will then become visible in the sales offerings.

Remember that at each stage, you can save your work progress and preview the e-coursebook before finalizing it.
